Hadrian, 117-138. Cistophorus (Silver, 26 mm, 10.40 g, 7 h), uncertain mint in Asia Minor. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P Bare head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. COS III Roma seated left on cuirass and shield, holding Victory in her right hand and spear in her left. Metcalf 95. RPC III 1445. Very rare. A nicely toned and well struck example without the usual traces of overstriking. Good very fine.
